Mettawee – Podcasting and Netbooks
Written by Eric Bird
I now feel that the students fully understand the podcasting program, and we entered the final stage of publishing and saving as an MP3, as well as saving to flashdrives.
I am amazed at the student excitement and interest in working on the netbooks. They have been exploring the programs, creating poems and projects with interactive word processing, and had many questions when I was there. We worked a bit with the netbooks and we are ready to create a movie maker project next.
One of the boys in the class was so happy with his netbook and creative software that he exclaimed, “I wish I could stay in fifth grade forever!” Careful kid. That can be arranged for at least another year.
